Good point on the pitchers--It really seems unfair that 1 top pitcher may be 
all you need to win it all--Just getting the ball in fair territory seems 
quite a hurdle for most of the batters against a top pitcher--Ah the days of Lisa 
Ishikawa-- (0ne Trib writer at the time even sugegsted she should try out for 
the Cubs--that MLB players might have a hard time hitting a 60 mph submariner 
--well probably not from 60 /12 feet !)


Anyhow--not only kudos to our lady Cats, but I am always impressed at how 
fundamentally sound the girls are in softball--very rarely make mental errors-(I 
wouldn't put  the tag play removing the force out at home in our final game, 
as  a mental error--came close to getting a DP)
