Either way - love Wilbon. He mentions NU any chance he
gets and I've seen him in the crowd at multiple NU
events (including last year's game at ASU). Good to
have him among our alums!

Also, belated kudos to the women's softball team.
Returning to the WCWS is no small feat and they made
the final four a year after making the finals. Along
with our three-peat lacrosse champs, NU's women of
spring have been amazing in recent years and done our
school proud! Loved their introductions during the
games too with all the purple talk!

As for the WCWS, I gotta say that they do need to look
at possible rules changes because some of those
pitchers are just dominating the game with the short
mound now. And since the teams don't often change
pitchers between games that leads to one team with a
hot pitcher (or two as in this year) just dominating
the series. Good for them, but time for a change in
the rules to keep hitting and fielding part of the
game as well as the pitching.

I can smell the football preview issues on the
presses!
