ST: And there is Tiller's success in a nutshell - he
beats
the teams he needs to beat.

THAT's what NU has to do as well: bowl games and
winning records will come by simply beating the teams
NU is supposed to beat (and win the games NU's winning
38-3 in the second half, too,. but ...). This year, as
of now, you could say NU would be favored in 6 of 12
games. Have to win them.

ST: In a nutshell, that's why PSU has fallen from the
elite status - sheesh. Michigan is understandable for
a power to lose to consistently ... Iowa is not.

Well, 0-8 vs. Michigan isn't good enough for anybody;
certainly not Penn State, whose teams don't lose 8
times in 25 years to most of the teams they play.

But Steve's right: PSU should beat Iowa once in a
while. And some of the losses were awful: remember
6-4?

and I'm confident in the Cats being bowl
bound!

So am I.
