I agree that GB sacrificed Vince however....
Zook picked him up after a few years in the doldrums, primarily it appears now,
to have a DC who knew the Big 10 better than any of his chosen assistants. I
really suspect Vince is looking for another Gig, maybe with a MAC team, or
something out west.
Too bad, he and Brown and Vanderlinden were a pretty good group. If Okruh can
hang on and miss a season, he might be a top candidate at NU, but there's all
that baggage with JB and Fitz.....I guess I could check, but what did Okruh
coach before he was DC?
Remember that a coach always has a hard time coming home.
