I had assumed that John's comment was directed to a certain member of the NU
law faculty who was a former leader in the Weatherman organization.  But
that particular situation has more to do with the benefits of being the
daughter-in-law of a member of the board of trustees than anything else.  So
I thought it was irrelevant.  Also irrelevant would be anybody else's views
regarding the legalization of marijuana.
