[NU Sports] McGee Fire or Not?

I had assumed that John's comment was directed to a certain member of the NU law faculty who was a former leader in the Weatherman organization. But that particular situation has more to do with the benefits of being the daughter-in-law of a member of the board of trustees than anything else. So I thought it was irrelevant. Also irrelevant would be anybody else's views regarding the legalization of marijuana.

Regarding the actual issue at hand, I agree with Roy that McGee should not be fired. However, I disagree with Roy's reasoning. I don't think it's OK for a football coach on "vacation" to drive while intoxicated. I don't think he should lose his job over it, but it's nevertheless a serious issue. I won't harp on it, but I think we all probably know of lives that have needlessly been lost to drunk driving.

Maybe that is why college sports are a lot more fun to watch than the pros
