[NU Sports] McGee Fire or Not?

Just so there is no confusion.

I am happy with the job McGee did in 2006 with the exception of taking 
too long to start Bacher.  I believe he understands the Northwestern-
spread and can adapt it to our talent.  NU should be ready to give him 
a healthy raise in 2007 assuming next year turned into a bowl game.

All that being said I do believe this incident takes somes of the 
luster off...

I do not like the idea of minimizing a DUI.  Don't you believe that 
causes a credibility loss when entering a recruit's home?  The student-
athlete probably does not care about the DUI, but the parent might.  
Talking with coaches, we often recruit the parent just as hard as the 
athletes themselves.
