[NU Sports] Cats Win!

Agree, Michael. As the announcer said when he talked to BC after the game, it was a "textbook" example of Princeton execution. Minn was missing their big man but 'Cats defense really took control early. Not many 3's but the Cats hit some when they needed to in second half to keep some momentum. I must confess I was still a bit nervous even with the 12-14 point lead with 4 minutes to play....Glad to see Coble back in the game (off the bench) and generating some offense. Ryan looked good, too.

About the only flaw worth noting was the ESPN-Plus broadcast problems (periodic video dropouts) in the first half :-)

Shame the 'Cats have OSU back in Evanston as their next opponent...would have been nice to feed off this win against Penn State or Iowa.

A good win, granted over a bad team, and there's no talk? I don't care
if it's Minnesota, a 15-point conference road win is huge! We
controlled the tempo, didn't get in foul trouble, and never trailed,
despite shooting only .261 from beyond the arc. Minny had trailed at
halftime against Purdue in the conference opener and rallied for a win,
so they aren't completely pathetic. (They had one more conference win
going into today's game than we did!)

-Michael
