[NU Sports] The basketball team

We still have people here who insist on being cheery after yet another loss, 
people who should be totally DISsatisfied with the continued failure of the 
NU basketball program.  It's another +1 under "L," our usually incremented 
column.  I did not bother watching the game.  Perhaps Wisconsin took the 
Cats lightly; perhaps the Cats played their butts off.  They always play 
their hearts out and occasionally can win a game or put the fear of God into 
a better team.  In the end, though, they are still the hustling, well 
coached, talent-starved team that Bill Carmody has always put on the floor. 
They can and will never be successful in the Big 10 until they sate 
themselves at the talent table, whatever offensive dish they choose to dine 
on.  The NU basketball program continues to be a failure and does not 
currently demonstrate any hope that will change next season.  There are 
high-caliber schools who DO recruit basketball talent.  Why can't we?
