[NU Sports] NU Sports News Digest for 1/15

 Ryan Keenan was playing right guard, #50 in your program. Looked OK but difficult to play OL in Allstar games.

If you didn't see any improvement on Saturday, then you couldn't have been watching the same game I saw. We hung to the end with what I think is the number one team in the country with our best player on the bench for the whole game. Completely outmanned, the Cats played great defense that gave the Badgers fits, and kept them totally off balance. While unable to ultimately pull out the win, the Cats are a very young team and those are the types of games that young teams in particular have a tough time winning. Not to mention a terrible no call on the rebound late that cost us the ball, gave Wisconsin a put back and essentially the game. Far and away, their finest performance of the year and one that gave me enough reason to hope that this season still has some promise left. 

Back to football for a minute. Flipping channels late yesterday, I ran into the Hula Bowl for a couple of plays and caught a glimpse of a purple NU helmet but couldn't tell who it was or even which team he was on (not that it would have made any difference). Anybody know what NU players have made all-star games?
