[NU Sports] Candidates for Gophers' HC Opening

There's an interesting story in today's Minneapolis Star-Tribune reviewing  
names being tossed around to succeed Glenn Mason.  The No. 1 candidate is  Lane 
Kiffin, USC's Offensive Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator.  He's  only 
31, and thus has youth and the "recruiting" gig in common with  Fitz.   Will 
the Minny powers-that-be take the same chance that Mark  Murphy and President 
Bienen did with Fitz, whom, of course, they knew, and who  had impeccable links 
with NU glory?
