[NU Sports] Still feeling ecstatic!

It's nearly a day later, but words can still hardly express my joy that neither of my two most despised teams, SC and Ohio State, won the national championship.  For a while this season, it looked like the championship game would indeed be what I called the Bowl From Hell.  But, somehow, UCLA spoiled the season for SC in an amazing defensive performance.  Then, there was last night.  I was rooting for Florida, but I never for one moment before the game felt that the Gators would win.  But what a performance!  To shut up all of those sanctimonious, arrogant Buckeye fans was a truly beautiful thing.  During the second half, every time the cameras showed an OSU cheerleader, an OSU older fan, or a kid who was rooting for OSU, they were all crying.  Truly glorious!  -- Jim B.
