[NU Sports] Future of NU basketball

I wished I had saved my notes from this discussion that was rampant around  
campus in the late 70's early 80's when I was a student at Cat U.  Serioulsy, 
this is the same probelm NU hoops has had in its entire existence--It  
obviously is hard and having every type of coach from the young upstart, to a  big 
name guy from Duke ,(who had taken Duke to the NCAA finals) to an  
African-american coach, who was hoped amongst his other coaching  skills, could make better 
in-roads to stars from the African- American  community, hasn't done much--I 
have no good answers--Though I do think a key  goal would be to get 2 or 3 top 
recruits the same year , make a big press splash  and hope they could carry us 
to a decent record and build from there--Good luck  !
