[NU Sports] Michigan game..

I suspect that Mr. Hardy may be filling that bill in terms of the Chicago area,
and the other two assistants found many of the kids who are contributing.

When Vince Scott, our current big man came in, we all knew he was a "project."
His development was probably set back by the arrival of Michael Thompson, and
the loss of minutes. Without a healthy Tolic to push him, Scott never had a
chance to develop and now is catching up out on the court.

The Cats have never rebounded well under BC, on the offensive end, the motion
style offense means our guards sometimes wind up inside and they get out
rebounded by 7 foot centers playing D in the crease. Scott as center normally
sets up around the foul line to feed the ball back out on various plays.

When our O is clicking the way it did against Utah, it is exciting, and fun to
watch. When its not like at PSU it is not fun to watch.

Those who remember games by KON probably will also remember that those were not
very much fun to watch either, even though we ran up and down he floor.

Anyway, as far down at NU was in roundball, it would take a long time to improve
in the Big 10 and you would have to figure on setbacks.

At least I did.
