C'mon, Art.  Speak your mind.  Don't be reticent like me.

Of course Notre Dame is "engineering the actions of the bowl system to their 
advantage," just not "secretly."  You said it:  "Bowls are about money. 
Period."   Why should Notre Dame be any less eager to grab the spoils than 
anyone else?  If you had an advantage, wouldn't you take it?  Notre Dame is 
not breaking any law, but that does not mean that their preferential 
treatment it is fair and should be permitted by college football.
