That would be the famous game against Nebraska in 1969.  Penn State scored 
with no time remaining in the game to make it 14 - 13 Nebraska.  There was 
no overtime of course, so PSU went for two.  They failed.  Omaha may have 
gone berserk, but the noise of gnashing teeth in Pennsylvania created a 
financial windfall for the dentistry profession.  WAIT!  THERE'S A FLAG ON 
THE PLAY!  IT'S AGAINST NEBRASKA!  (Maybe someone will recall the exact 
penalty.)  On their second try, Penn State punched it in, and the boys from 
Centre County lifted the state a few feet in altitude.

OK, it wasn't as exciting as the 0 - 0 game Northwestern once played, but it 
ranks up there.
