[NU Sports] Big Ten bowls ...

I recall the whole forfeit discussion because GB refused to accept it. He
said that he only wanted NU to be listed as the winner if they won on the
field.
Don't know if this is something that the NCAA or the Rose Bowl committee
deals with. But if I were the Rose Bowl committee, I don't think I would
want to draw attention to something like that.

I heard about the academic ineligibility, but I never heard about the
forfeit. I thought nothing came of it.
On the tournament of roses official site it still lists the results and
generally when one team forefeits it lists it.

And watching Jarret brough back some bad memories of another big SC
wideout.
Still, every time they show those wide shots of the Rose Bowl I just
get
goosebumps and remember that magical trip eleven years ago.

Particularly watching him taunt the UoM defenders REALLY brought back
memories of Keeshawn. It was also interesting in one of the video
retrospectives of USC Rose Bowl wins to see John Robinson on the
shoulders
of his players. They neglected to mentioned USC forfeited that Rose
Bowl
win because of an academically ineligible Keeshawn on the field.
