There was a guy named Jack Shepard who sent to Stanford, played for the Pirates, wrote his MBA thesis on the economics of moving the NY (baseball )Giants to California. He also was on the investment organization for the Stanford Medical school. His son was a smart kid, good baseball player too, got rejected by Stanford and went to Princeton. Go figure.
