Oh, I like shorter games ... just not by sacrificing
the game itself. If they want to keep those new clock
changes for the first three quarters, fine - but the
final 5 minutes or so of the fourth need to have the
old rules.

It just wasn't as exciting this year at the end of
games - and NU fans have become experts on that. Even
if a team saved all their timeouts, with the clock
starting on the kickoff, the team didn't have much
hope - and when coaches started perverting the rule
like Wisky vs. PSU, then it really looked awful.
