[NU Sports] Michigan's man ...

I know that before last season the Michigan DC Ron English was talked about
for a few NFL openings so I am sure that he has aspirations to move onto the
next level if not get an HC job (there are a few openings left). I doubt
that he would take a job that is basically a step down from Michigan (in pay
and national attention, at least) at a place where the HC will be sticking
around for a while.

Anyways it will be interesting to see where NU's search for DC leads. I
would suspect that Fitz already has one guy or a couple of guys in mind for
the job and that (like the announcement with Colby) he is waiting for the
"right time" to make the announcement - possibly after the bowls or the new
year?
