[NU Sports] Alumni loyalty

Return a phone call? Let me tell you a story.  I had founded and been  
president of an alumni club, served on a lot of committees and was nominated for  
the alumni BOD, I got a call from the then president of the NUAA, she said you  
are second in line if one member declines, if not you are in for next year. I  
said,"if I can be of service, I will do what I can."  That is the last I  
heard from them. They lost a good worker with that, the club I founded is now  
inactive, serves them right. I recently sent some money to Kellogg because I  
visited Bala Balachandran's school in Chennai in September, the Great Lakes  
Institute, and spoke to the students about Kellogg and how we were proud to be  
associated with the hard working kids in India. That was fun.
