Not great for the alumni(season ticket holders) either.

Fitz did REALLY want a bye.  He mentioned that specifically when he talked at the FBC reception.

Northwestern itself is not conducive to filling stands for multiple reasons:  Chicagoland is a very poor college town, the quarter system, and a small alumni base.

There are many things I would like to change in college football, but progress even if it seems backwards is inevitable.
