Doh! Guess I am trying to supress as much about that
painful season as possible. But yes, I do remember it
being actually on Turkey Day now.

NUMB's solid support wasn't a surprise, no, but the
big yawn from the Orange and Blue fans with a chance
for a Big Ten title on the line was a shame.

Roy brought up a good point about the bye weeks as
well - they are nice for injuries to heal, but we
gotta make sure the schedulemaker doesn't screw us
like a couple years back when everyone seemed to have
a bye before playing NU!:)

That last weekend often is an unofficial "ACC-SEC"
challenge with some rivalry games like Clemson-SC,
UGa-GaTech, FSU-Florida, etc. If the league wants to
keep conference games where they are and the SEC
apparently won't play us except on their turf in the
bowls, maybe we should do a little Big Ten-Pac 10
challenge that week with games -- they've shown a
willingness to move around games to get better TV
time. Pie in the sky, but a fun thought.:)
