FWIW - Tenuta's pass defense this year made NU's look like "Lock Down." The only
saving grace is that he had a lot of injuries during the season, but the game I
saw, Navy couldn't figure out how to defend a TE....
I am really surprised that Johnson is leaving Navy, altho with 6 STRAIGHT WINS
OVER ARMY!!!!! there really isn't much more to accomplish with the middies.
Whoever takes over will have the seeds of a dynasty sown in Annapolis.
I just wonder if GA Tech will be able to find the athletes to run the spread
option in the ACC. Navy's guys are in superb shape, and the spread option
doesn't really develop NFL prospects like NU's Spread or the West Coast stuff.
Johnson is a good recruiter so he should be doing fine, besides his recruits
won't have to commit to 6 years of Navy life either.
I'm sure that Fitz has a couple of good guys in his sights, including the
missing man from Champaign.
