Alvarez was on the panel in 2005, Bielema was not in 2006 but is in 2007.

Maybe you have to be a head coach for just a year before you're given
consideration, or maybe Fitz opted out.  (I think Barnett opted out at
one point while at Northwestern, saying it was too much of a distraction, 
but as I recall he rejoined the panel when he moved to Colorado.)

Hoeppner from Indiana was on the panel in 2006 and Bill Lynch is on it 
in 2007, so I'm really not sure.  (However, Lynch was a head coach at 
Butler, Ball State and DePauw, so he's not a first-year head coach,
but at this point neither is Pat.)
