True - it was just interesting how PSU put up such a
fight over making it public and then it really wasn't
much (lower than everyone in the Big Ten save for IU,
I think) for the base salary.

But yeah, he likely has some great endorsement deals -
as I'm sure Charlie Weis does to be making that low of
a base.

Obviously, non-state institutions like NU, Stanford
and Duke don't have to release the info, but I'd be
curious to see what Fitz, Harbaugh, Coach K and others
make comparatively.:)

Well, didn't Bielema vote from UW, though maybe he
"inherited" Alvarez' vote? Maybe they should rotate
the votes among conference coaches.

Although maybe Fitz was asked and declined. I'm sure
some some just say a polite no - especially now that
they're published by name:).
