[NU Sports] Maybe the Big Ten ...

Hey, no one forced the Big XII (or any of the other conferences) to split into two divisions and hold a conference championship game.  They chose that route and receive significant financial rewards for it, so let's not make them out to be victims here.  Besides, the situation could just as easily have helped the winner as penalized the loser.
 
I do agree with the rest of your post: Bring in Notre Dame, make two divisions, and beat the Buckeyes by five TDs.  All of that sounds pretty good to me.
