That also assumes 4-0 against non conference teams.  Something we haven't
figured out how to do.  I think that running the noncon table will be a good
indication of how Fitz is doing with focus and discipline.  

All things considered, though, it appears that we'll have a good shot at a
bowl this year if we take care of business.

And they're predicting we will go 6-6, 2-6 in the conference.  They predicted
4-8, 1-7 for the Hoosiers, and 2-10, 0-8 for Illinois.  NU and  Indiana
caught breaks, NU missing Wisconsin and Penn State, and IU missing OSU  and
Michigan.  Illinois doesn't fare so well, missing Purdue and Michigan  State.

 
Also encouraging is the fact that 3 of our predicted mid-season defeats  look
like they could be close games (at MSU, we're 7 point underdogs, hosting  the
Gophers, we're 6 point underdogs, and hosting Iowa, we're predicted to be 8
point underdogs.  And, since we beat the Spartans 2 years ago at their
place, and beat Iowa last year at their place, we have some recent success
against those programs)
