[NU Sports] Big 10 Network

I found this site with a matrix of all games and starting times for college
football 2007:

http://www.strangestbrew.com/cfb_sched/cfb.html

Apparently they have all of NU's starting times listed (despite the fact
that NU athletics has only confirmed 6 of them). Here is the list (*
denotes NU confirmation):

NU vs. Northeastern - 11AM*
NU vs. Nevada - 11AM*
NU vs. Duke - 7PM*
NU @ OSU - 2:30PM
NU vs. Michigan - 12PM
NU @ MSU - 11AM
NU vs. Minnesota - 11AM*
NU @ EMU - 6PM (Fri)*
NU @ Purdue - 11AM*
NU vs. Iowa - 11AM
NU vs. Indiana - 11AM
NU @ Illinois - 7PM

This is an interesting revelation as game times are typically announced
after TV network/time selection (2 weeks in advance of game) except for
pre-announced night games and homecoming games. Interesting game times to
note: 2:30 @ OSU - probably an ABC game. 12PM @ UM - unknown, but an
unusual start time.  7PM @ Illinois - interesting night game choice;
probably a BTN Game as I'm sure ESPN wouldn't select that for a night game
as of now.

Of course I have no idea where these game times came from so they could very
well be wrong, but it is interesting that they are already filled in.

In terms of the BTN, it will probably be a wait and see if you get the games
type thing, and I wouldn't doubt fans getting left in the dark again - even
those who switched to BTN. Imagine how angry fans will get if they went
through the hassle of switching to DTV only to find out their game of choice
isn't being broadcast live? If that happens (since the BTN has already
promised simulcasting games) then the BTN will be on the quick road to
failure.
