Not good news, especially considering that the BTN officials have been
advertising that DirecTV would be carrying multiple feeds for some time -
and it seems odd that this is in direct contradiction to those statements.
It also doesn't make sense that multiple feeds would not be offered since
they will be produced and transmitted - and the only thing that DirecTV can
do is "regionalize" or only allow subscribers in certain zip codes access to
games - although with the satellite technology used all of the other games
would be transmitted but blocked (much like local channels now that are all
transmitted but only certain channels are allowed to be pickedu p depending
on the region).
