[NU Sports] Madden 2008

I picked up Madden 2008, which has a new feature this year called "weapons." Players with dominant skills are singled out for their unique abilities. During the pre-game introductions, the game highlights key players on each team, and identifies their weapon.

I was playing against San Diego, and our own Luis Castillo was highlighted as a dominant "power move" D-lineman. The announcer even said "...from Northwestern...."

Very cool.


On a related note, I refuse to buy the NCAA football game until they correctly model Ryan Field. You would think that a Big Ten stadium would be modeled before some of the WAC stadiums. Very frustrating...even more so because it was modeled in earlier versions (2006 and prior).
