[NU Sports] Top 100 Beatdowns

I think that we dodged a bullet by not being listed in the attached link to this list of Top 100 Beatdowns.

Unfortunately, I think that we have a couple of games that are worthy of consideration:

- Sun Bowl versus UCLA
- 2nd Half of Michigan State Game in 2006
 - but most likely would be the 2000 Alamo Bowl versus Nebraska.  We gave up 31(easily could have been 42) in the 2nd period and a bowl record of 66 points.  I remember overhearing a couple of guys talking at the consession stand.  Guy #1 "When was the last time you saw a team hang 31 on someone in a quarter?".  Guy 2 "I saw the Spurs do it last night."

On the plus side - It was nice to see the evil empire get a couple of mentions on the wrong side of a beatdown.
