I love this list, but if some of you folks don't visit the Rivals.com NU basketball board, it's worth a stop. We've been discussing BOTH Jordan sons for quite some time there.

I'd say this one's a tough call. Kid certainly doesn't NEED a scholarship, but we all know everyone wants the personal recognition that comes with one. I don't think it's ridiculous to dream over the hoped-for publicity that would possibly accompany a Jordan on the roster. Heck, someone would even remember that Michael himself didn't make one of his high school teams and dream that one of his sons would blossom into something special for NU.

That said, scholarships are precious. Sure, we've blown some with offering the wrong people - I won't mention any names and hope no one else feels the need to - we probably would agree on who they were. But the last position we need to offer right now is a guard. The universal feeling is we need a big man, and plenty of worry over whether we'll be able to get a good one. The need at guard is way down the list by comparison.
