I concur - why not give him a scholarship, plus it will save a few bucks on
recruiting visits (e.g. Carmody heading over to the Balkans searching for
players to fill out the scholarships). PLUS when everyone inevitably calls
for Carmody's head following another mediocre season, someone can always
plead for Jordan to come in and coach.
In reality, though, I doubt this will happen. I've only been an NU fan in
the Carmody era which has been one of the most consistent eras in NU
basketball (in terms of wins) and I'm already pessimistic, so take this as
you will.
