[NU Sports] Gunning for a Threepeat

The 2007 "Final Four" for women's lacrosse is in Philadelphia on  Memorial 
Day weekend; May 25 (Fri) and Sun. May 27. It's site is the venerable  Franklin 
Field where the Penn Quakers still play, and where the Eagles used to  
(shhhh....I can hear Chuck Bednarik knocking out Frank Gifford) play, as well as  the 
site of their last championship, a win over Lombardi's Packers. (1960)
  Tickets are cheap; check out NCAA's web site and loof for link,  or call 
the U of Pa. Ticket Office at 215-898-6151.  Also, our lacrosse  team is 
scheduled to play in Baltimore on CSTV at 5:00 Cat Daylight Time.  (ooops, vs, Johns 
Hopkins)  Additionally, the conference in which they play  in (ALC) has their 
tournament in Baltimore the first weekend in May. 
 
Football- not much chatter going on re: spring ball.  From what's been  
leaked it seems the offense is light years ahead of the defense.  No  surprise but 
not great news as well.
