It's quite unlikely that NU would become a venue for a variety of sports - one of the central features of the Chicago bid is its anticipated compactness. There's already a fair amount of info about proposed venues out there; so far NU is proposed to host soccer matches at Ryan Field. Track is extremely unlikely, given the current configuration of Ryan - there is no track, and insufficient room to install one. There are several good venues for basketball in Chicago already - and the newest one is at Chicago State.

Take a look at www.Chicago2016.org for some introductory info.

Alan probably has, or will soon have, more info about proposed venues than the rest of us have seen.
