[NU Sports] BT finally wins one

I know the question is mostly rhetorical, but it comes down to a few
factors:

1) Alumni interested in funding hockey -- Chicago is currently not a
hotbed in hockey.
2) Robert Crown Ice Arena in Evanston besides being a dump does not
like Northwestern for a number of reasons including alcohol.
3) Given that factor NU probably needs to buid its own ice surface,
which requires land which NU does not have and more money. Practing
and playing at Highland Park, however nice and inexpensive they are is
not conducive to a varsity sport, nor will it bring student crowds.
4) To have a male sport you must have an equivalent sport, which costs
more money:
Synchronized Skating

Men's Hockey
http://groups.northwestern.edu/menshockey/

We enjoy, fund, and attend both club teams, but our level of funding
lacks 3-4 additional zeros.

That was a great game, why the heck can't we have a big time hockey
program?
