[NU Sports] One Shining Moment

Will we ever have one?  Now that the Final Four is history, and CBS  has 
ended with the traditional song and collage of spectacular plays in the  
Tournament, the emptiness of the NU experience in college hoops hits me once  again.  
We have such a wonderful tradition in so many areas--stage, music,  
engineering, business, and now even football--why can't we recruit one "Fab  Five" of our 
own to take us to the heights--not the Final Four--just the  Sixty-Four?    
There are no excuses, and that's what has to come  from the top (President 
Bienen) down.  Otherwise, why don't we just give up  the sport entirely for the 
men?  It is time to demand excellence, when we  can't even achieve mediocrity 
any more.
