[NU Sports] NU & ESPN this week ...

I know we're not exactly all over the network, but it
was odd to flip the channel when I got home twice this
week and see Cats news on the family of sports
networks.

I caught some of the HS All-American game and saw a
commit from New Trier who will be joining the NU
women's team next year. They said it was the first
McDonalds AA to commit to the Cats ... she made the
finals but lost there. Dunno how much she can do, but
it's nice to see a good recruit from Chicagoland
staying in the area.

Then today, I guess ESPN Classic is having some "Stump
the Schwab" marathon and when I flicked it on, the
question was:

"What NCAA football team set a record in 2004 by
playing in four overtime contests."

Of course, WE know the answer but neither the
contestant nor the "Schwab" did.:)
