Although Dick Cheney will question my patriotism, I felt great pride when  
Luke won his match and retained the Ryder cup for Europe. That may have been the 
 greatest moment in Wildcat golf, at least until Luke wins a major. I also 
found  the sub-plot of Darren Clarke and his recent loss quite moving. Not 
counting the  Spaniards, I think the Europeans were much more  likeable.
