Anybody know what we pay a baseball coach ?  My guess - $150,000 ? (This could be way off)
 
It raises an interesting question - If he came to Evanston to coach, he could have 20 years of peace and quiet and very few fan complaints - and maybe earn $3 million over that stretch ?
 
If he manages in the majors, especially with a 'Manager of the Year' award under his belt, he can ask for $3-4 million a year for 3 or 4 years ?  Thats maybe $13 million for 4 years work, vs $3 million for 20 years work.
 
Much as it'd be nice to get him, he'd be nuts to look away from the $$$ of major league baseball
 
He might also be nuts to experience 4 years of heartburn and heartbreak on Chicago's North Side - go someplace with low expectations, and cash similar-sized checks.
