Actually, I wouldn't dump our present manager, given his record of development
with players. The Cats have a bunch of guys in pro baseball, with several
pitchers poised to make upward moves next Spring.

No, I think Joe G. will be in Wrigley next year, and since the owner doesn't sit
in a box and bitch at the umpires during games, he'll do fine.

I don't know who the Marlins hoped to attract when they did hire Joe G, but he
hasn't been on the inside of anything since his hiring last winter.
