[NU Sports] Sparty Chokes Again

Is there a more schizophrenic program in the Big Ten than Michigan State?
They seem to get 1-2 dramatic wins each year, but also lay 1-2 big fat eggs.
They sign good talent every February, draw 70k+ for nearly every home game,
and seem to crack the Top 25 most years. Yet, they are perennially mired in
the middle tier of the Big Ten. Their last conference title was 1990, which
they shared with three other teams.
It's really a mystery to me why Michigan State isn't a contender for the Big
Ten title more often than they are or the title more often than they do
(roughly once every ten years).

With all of the consecutive holding calls, MSU showed once again that
they are the dumbest team in the Big Ten - as usual.
