[NU Sports] For those who may have other interest besides NU/UN-R

For those of you who need a break form worrying about NU vs UN-R today:

One of the reporters, Mark Fainaru-Wada,  who broke the BALCO/Steroid /Barry 
Bonds scandal is a Medil grad.  Yesterday , former NU all-american and Sun 
Times Sportswriter, Rick Telander, flew out here to SF (apparantly on his own 
dime) to show professional support (and maybe NU support) for the reporters who 
received 18 month prison sentences for not revealing their confidential source 
of leaked grand jury testimony.  (Maybe Rick had planned to go to Reno anyways 
and figured he make a side trip, 200 miles away )
