A few other possibilities:

    * Tulane (We played them at Dyche in 1971, I think, when I was a
Soph.)--If they can get their program back in gear, in the wake of Katrina (They
were actually heading downhill before the Hurricane.), this would be a good
fit.
    * Rutgers (Will not be an easy game any more, but NJ has a lot of good
HS football players, and Rutgers is a respected academic institution; NYC
metro area coverage).
    * North Carolina (Another good state school; probably an easier game
than Virginia.)
    * Maryland (See North Carolina; Good entree into Washington & Baltimore
 markets.)
    *   UCONN (NYC & Boston/New England coverage--nice new stadium)
    * Georgia Tech (Good academics; Atlanta market)
    * Cincinnati (Big East; Beatable; Like NU, has good Music Theater
Program; Wildcats vs. Bearcats)
    * Temple (Philadelphia market; TU is a classic Hostess
Cupcake--guaranteed win)
I am reluctant to schedule Boston College for two reasons: (a) It will be
VERY tough to beat them, especially in Boston; and (b) They will pull out and
go elsewhere in a millisecond if they get better offer (Just ask Syracuse and
UCONN Athletic Directors). Having said that, I cannot end without observing
that IMHO the turning point of the Barnett Era, and in a sense, our entire
FB program, came when we hung on to beat Glenn Foley's BC team 23-22 in 1993
(I think I have the year right.). Although the next year we took a step back
(with the "gambling" scandal), this was the first big win we had (and it was
on ESPN) in many years. I will never forget my excitement when the game
finally ended.
