While that may be true, the 1995 season would not have been complete 
without the win over Notre Dame.  That game was one of the defining 
moments of the modern era of Northwestern football.  Plus it came up in 
the press numerous times that we were something like only two teams to 
ever beat Notre Dame, Michigan, and Penn State in the same season.  
Furthermore, had we not played ND, I wouldn't have that Sun Times 
t-shirt--NU 17 ND 15--to use to taunt certain ND fans I may know.
