[NU Sports] on non-league skeds (fwd)

Some months ago many of us looked at the 2006 non-conference sked (Miami,
UNH, EMU, UNR) and reasonably anticipated 4-0 with a virtual lock on a bowl.
Now I really worry about Friday night in Reno against another good QB who
could make us 2-2 and probably end our post-season possibilities. That is why I
think this week's game could define the entire season, something I hope that
will motivate the coaches and players to elevate their performance beyond
what we saw the last two weeks. If not, we lose and a tough Big Ten schedule
awaits.

Yeah, let's get those OTHER creampuffs back on the schedule: Notre Dame,
Kansas and Oklahoma.

There are only 25 1-A teams that are 3-0 right now, I predict less than
20 will make it to 4-0, and probably only 30 or so will be 3-1.

I'd settle for being in the top 50 heading into conference play most
years, and especially this year.
