[NU Sports] perspective and sutton

If McGee was breaking in as OC with a 4thor 5th year QB, I certainly would be on
the other side, but getting your full offense going requires you to use what you
have at any time during the game.

If they're taking away the running you have to pass.

If your QB is new and still learning where the 2nd and 3rd RCVR is on a pass
play, you have to call the easy passes.

Baz was one of those guys who could run right and pick up the 2nd and 3rd WR in
pattern. It was obvious [to me] that Kafka and Brewer both missed finding a
couple of #2 and #3 guys down field because he was looking for #1, waiting for
him to get open and missing a better opportunity.

One reason the Wing T works so well is that it limits the number of WR's to 2.
It makes it easy for QBs to pick out the target and limits them to watching for
just 1 or 2 WRs

As Kafka, Brewer and I hope eventually CJ get more playing time, their ability
to pick up the alternates will improve, and so will our passing [and rushing]
game.

BTW - when you have a Sutton type rusher, you put a LB on just him - a Spy.
Tyrell has a Spy on him almost all the time. NU's O-Line has to figure out how
to get the spy occupied away from the play. That also takes time.

One Game at a Time, One play at a time...
