[NU Sports] Hijinks in South Bend

Lloyd Carr is hanging on, but Charlie Weis (or the president of NBC) seems to have gotten to the referees - a spate of awful calls (a phantom late hit, a phantom pass interference, a missed push-off in the end zone) and ND is in the end zone early in the 4th.
 
One hopes there is not enough time to steal this one from the Big Ten, but never count out the Domer's greed to steal a game.  The NBC analyst even had the temerity to question a couple of the calls (was the 'interfered' pass catchable ?  Was the touchdown really an offensive push-off ?)  The main NBC guy cut him off curtly.
 
Ah, journalistic integrity, thy name is NBC.
