[NU Sports] No TV

I am getting agitated about this "No TV" stuff. I suppose it is because we
have been so spoiled in this regard in the last 5-10 years, in which
radio-only games have been relatively rare. Still, it irks me that in the
first three weeks of the season, only two of the six games played by the
teams about which I care (NU and Minnesota) have been or are being
televised: The NU-Miami game--which I had to upgrade my satellite
subscription to watch--the first week, and the Minnesota-Cal game--which
went about as well as NU-UNH--last week. I want more games on regular
broadcast channels or at least basic cable, people, not this ESPNU stuff!
Games against Kent State, New Hampshire, Eastern Michigan, and Temple all
are/were untelevised. Okay, being honest, I can't really make a great case
for televising those games other than that I and people like me still want
to see them. Fortunately, I have tickets to the Gophers-Owls game tomorrow
(Minnesota's home opener), so I will get to see that. I am looking forward
to the Big Ten Channel next year, but only provided that (a) I'll be able to
pick it up without having to switch providers (to DirecTV) (b) it doesn't
cost an arm and a leg.
That's all for my minor gripe of the day.
